Prime-XS and Royal Society Funding

Already a good few months ago we’ve secured support from Prime-XS, a EU-funded consortium that provides free access to state-of-the-art mass-spectroscopy infrastructure. While this grant pays for sample preparation and handling, instrument time and some basic initial analysis, a few of the questions that really interest us require the purchase of very expensive peptide standards. Thanks to some generous support from the Royal Society, we now have a few headaches less and shall soon commence with the quantitative part of our work. The Brunner group and the Functional Genomics Center at ETH Zurich are now fully engaged with this exciting project, which will hopefully shed some new light on the biology of transcription factor target finding!
